Nanny Assis (Brazil/USA)
Nanny Assis is a Brazilian- American Musician, Composer and Producer Based in New York. He was named “Best Singer of the Year” twice by the prestigious Brazilian International Press Awards. Japan awarded Mr Assis “Brazilian Ambassador on Music and Arts” for his work promoting the Brazilian culture in Japan, New Zealand, Cuba, Italy, Russia, Israel, Turkey, England and France, just to name a few countries. Mr Assis is a composer of the new NYC-Based Musical “Rio Uphill”. He has recorded three albums: Brazilian Vibes, Double Rainbow and Honey and Air. In collaboration, Mr Assis shared the stage with Janis Siegel, Vinicius Cantuária, Eumir Deodato, Joao Donato, Kenny Baron and Paul Simon.
